Wow! I guess its all set for another presidential elections show down between GEJ and Buhari as the former head of state, Gen. Buhari has reportedly won the APC primaries. He beat the former VP, Atiku Abubakar, current Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, current governor of Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha, and the publisher of Leadership newspapers Sam Nda-Isaiah, to win the APC presidential Primary.

Gen. Buhari scored about 5,000 votes against Atiku his closest rival who scored 954 votes. Now we know who they candidates for the presidential race are and its time to make up your mind on who to vote for... So who would it be?

Boxing Champion, Floyd Mayweather to be quizzed by LAPD over rapper, Heyes Murder-Suicide

Boxing champion, Floyd Mayweather is cut up in a Murder-Suicide case. According to TMZ, Floyd was on FaceTime with his rapper friend Monday morning when the shots were fired. Now we're told, Floyd was telling Hayes he should leave his wife, Stephanie Moseley -- a well-known backup dancer and star of VH1's "Hit the Floor" -- because she was bad for his career.

As we reported, Hayes was distraught over what he believed was repeated infidelity, including a fling he said Stephanie had with Trey Songz.

One Mayweather source says Floyd challenged Hayes, saying he was weak for not leaving her.

Earl Hayes rapped about Murder-Suicide four years ago

According to TMZ report, Rapper Earl Hayes had thoughts of suicide long before killing his wife and himself on Monday back in 2010 he recorded a song with lines like, "I could just kill us both, go out with a smash."

The song was called "Suicide" and it was part of a mixtape Hayes put out called "The First 48" (which also happens to be an A&E show about murder investigations).

Baba as he is fondly called had initially scheduled to launch it on Thursday, but instead it took place yesterday in Lagos at the Lagos Country Club. Music mogul and Bad Boy records CEO, Diddy threw punch at Drake which earlier reports by some media house claimed was because Drake was flirting with Diddy girlfriend, Cassie but nah! it wasn't because of her rather according to TMZ, it was over a song, "0 to 100/ The Catch Up" which was just nominated for two Grammys - Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song. From TMZ: Our sources say, producer Boi-1da had given both Diddy and Drake a song to record more than 8 months ago. We're told Diddy sat on the song, which frustrated Drake because he wanted to record it. So recently Drake recorded the song on his own and it did well, which pissed Diddy off.

Diddy saw Drake at LIV Monday for the first time since the song was released. Sources close to Diddy say he confronted Drake, who just blew him off, and that's when Diddy said, "You'll never disrespect me again," and then punched him.

We're told Drake ended up at an ER because in the ruckus he hit his shoulder and exacerbated an old injury.

Well according to unverified reports Tayo Faniran who represented Nigeria and got to the finals in the just concluded BBA 2014 but lost the price money to Tanzanian born Idris has been handed a whooping $3500, 000 by billionaire business man Ayiri Emami.

That no doubt surpassed the BBA price which stands at $300,000. I guess Tayo is smiling to the banks now and would sure prefer this amount than the price money from BBA lolz.

His names are Akinwunmi Ambode, he is the APC governorship candidate for Lagos state com 2015 general elections. Recently he was attacked and claims of perjury leveled against him. Ambode has therefore made his CV public a move to counter the claims of his detractors. Read below;

• I was born on the 14th of June,1963 at Epe General Hospital, Epe, Lagos State.
• I had my Primary School at St. Jude’s Primary School, Ebute Meta, and Lagos. Passed the National Common Entrance in Primary 5 and gained admission into Federal Government College, Warri.

Ok, her comment raised another question... if a Nigerian merit and indeed against all odds keep wining the BBA and thereby deny other participating African countries representatives the chance to win it...what's wrong with that? I thought the competition is based on survival of the fittest? lol.

Two more people who joined politics from the entertainment industry win primaries

 
Ok hurray!!! as report reaching us confirm that two more people from the entertainment industry have won their Primaries. Singer Tony Oneweek won the APC Idemili North House of Assembly ticket in Anambra state.

While, former DG of NTA and chairman of Silverbird Group, Ben Murray-Bruce won the PDP Bayelsa East Senatorial District during the primaries that held yesterday December 7th. This bring the number of those who scale through the party primaries huddle to three as Desmond Elliot was the first to get his party ticket to contest for the lagos state house of assembly come 2015 elections.

Nigerian military releases detained Russian Cargo plane as France claimed ownership

                      
The Nigerian military has released the detained Russian cargo plane as France admitted ownership of the aircraft. It said that the flight was covered by a diplomatic clearance given by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja, noting that the Autonov 124 Russian commercial plane was forced to land at the Kano airport because of dense air traffic at Ndjamena airport, Chad.

A statement from the French Ambassador to Nigeria, Jacques Champagne de Labriolle, on Sunday, stated that the Antonov plane had to divert to an alternate international airport and the  closest airport facility being Kano, the Russian crew decided to fly there, to refuel, and to take off again to reach Njamena Airport.

Singer 9ice and other entertainers who joined politics failed at party primaries

                      
It has not been so good for all the entertainers who recently joined politics as most of them crashed out of the race at party primaries except for one person who won. Desmond Elliot. The likes of 9ice lost his APC Primaries for Ogbomosho North/Ogbomosho South/Orire Federal Constituency. He lost to Prince Akeem Oyewunmi. D1 of prime time Africa also lost his APC primaries, Kennys Saint Best lost and Tony Tetuila lost at the primaries too. Kate Henshaw lost at her Odunkpani constituency too.

Well, i guess their taste of politics and the journey just began.... With time lol!
