Delectable reggae/dancehall singer Cynthia Morgan has refuted claims that she is scared of Queen Ure for not promoting her song, Porpori. The speculation began shortly after the dancehall queen began promoting her new single, German Juice instead of Porpori.
Last year, Queen Ure got a court injunction to stop Morgan from using the word, Popori, claiming that she created the word and had its copyright. But in a chat with Saturday Beats, Morgan said that popori is a slang in Edo State and therefore, it would be wrong for Queen Ure to lay claim to coining it.
She said she couldn’t have been scared of Queen Ure not to promote the song, saying their songs had different spellings and concept. Morgan hinted that apart from promoting it, she would soon do a video for the much talked about song.
